Getting to Delta Backpackers

We are in Ayr,  one hour south of Townsville, which is in northern Queensland.  

 

You can fly to Townsville quite cheaply (check out fares on www.webjet.com.au ) and then either go Greyhound or Premier coaches.  The bus stop in Ayr for both buses is around 60 metres from our back door!  

 

Premier coaches are cheapest but have one service per day, Greyhound have around 2 services per day. When you get off the bus, look for a HUGE metal shed and our backyard with pool etc. is the other side of that.  There is a big ‘Delta’ sign but it’s quite high in the air and most people seem to miss it!
